Not too long ago, I picked up my first-ever pair of Golden Goose sneakers (which I originally featured in this post), and received a number of questions about them since then. So many that I thought it was time for a full review! How much do they cost?

How is the fit?
Yes, they do run true to size, at least for me.
They haven’t stretched noticeably, so if you’re between sizes, I’d go up a size
Are they comfortable?
They felt good almost immediately. I recommend wearing no-shows, especially since my feet get sweaty. They’re made with real Italian leather, so it’s much more easy than breaking in synthetic materials. Bonus, they’re already broken-in so your feet just adjust easily.
Do they hold up well?
Since they come pre-distressed, I didn’t worry about wearing them outside. I’ve worn them all over NYC, and they’ve held up beautifully. No glitter has fallen off, and the shape stayed solid. Thanks to the vintage look, I don’t really notice if there’s new wear and tear.
Do they feel better than other shoes?
These are the best sneakers I own. I love my Vejas and Tretorns, but Golden Goose still come out on top. There’s a secret wedge inside that adds support and height — making your legs look longer. Not to mention, they’re crafted individually, so each pair is one of a kind. And the sparkle on mine? Stunning.
Are they worth it?
Totally! Just try not to pay full price. They’re not cheap, so getting them with a promo is worth it. I’d pay several hundred for the quality, especially if you find a style that suits you. I chose a loud pair, but a neutral version would also look great.
